About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global category strategies that drive business value and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Category Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement category strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Lead Sourcing Initiatives: Lead sourcing initiatives to identify and engage with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Manage Budget and Financials: Manage budget and financials for sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
  • Provide Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership on sourcing best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in IT sourcing, including successful development and negotiation of complex technology agreements.
  • Strategic Leadership: Providing strategic direction and leadership in sourcing and procurement.
  • Global Sourcing Expertise: Experience in managing global supplier networks and logistics.
  • Supplier Relationship Excellence: Establishing long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding financial impacts of sourcing decisions and cost structure.
