About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our Procurement and Sourcing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison with business executives and provide sourcing expertise and recommendations to optimize sourcing strategies and enable business objectives.

  • Support business partners by contributing to governance programs and management programs within category specialty.

  • Manage category and strategic sourcing strategies and initiatives that support business partner needs and objectives, while mitigating risks to the organization.

  • Provide guidance on sourcing/outsourcing best practices and present research findings and make recommendations to management that support category and business partner strategies.

  • Lead supplier negotiations to maximize total cost of ownership in a given category and work with business partners.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Education

  • 7+ years of related experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

  • Advance negotiation skills and experience in negotiating complex contracts and terms for IT solutions.

  • Strategic sourcing experience, including developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Supplier development experience, including working closely with suppliers to improve quality, costs, and delivery performance.

  • Risk management experience, including identifying and mitigating risks related to sourcing and supply chain disruptions.

  • Contract negotiation and management experience, including managing complex contracts, including terms, conditions, and performance metrics.
