Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our Procurement and Sourcing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global category strategies that drive business value and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Category Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement category strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost savings.
  • Lead Strategic Sourcing Initiatives: Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and engage with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Provide Business Insights: Provide business insights and recommendations to stakeholders on category management, supplier performance, and cost savings opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of category strategies and supplier relationships.

Requirements:

  • 7+ Years of Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT sourcing, including successful development and negotiation of complex technology agreements.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven strategic leadership skills, including ability to provide direction and guidance to cross-functional teams.
  • Global Sourcing Expertise: Experience in managing global supplier networks and logistics.
  • Supplier Relationship Excellence: Proven ability to establish long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial impacts of sourcing decisions and cost structure.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
