About the Role

Mackenzie Investments is seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the execution of procurement activities in the functional areas of Procurement Strategy, Strategic Sourcing, and Contract Development. This role will support financial services including mortgages, banking, and insurance products, wealth management, and asset management operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement plans to meet business objectives and savings targets.
  • Conduct market research and spend analytics to identify opportunities for savings and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead competitive selection processes and provide advisory support to assigned business units.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage contract compliance.
  • Collaborate with risk stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies for third-party risk management.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, preferably in business or finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial environment with a good understanding of wealth and asset management operations.
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end RFx process and deal teams.
  • Skilled in contract negotiations for financial services categories.
  • Ability to manage senior to executive level stakeholders.
