About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Paper Excellence. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mill.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Lead a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs
  • Manage the maintenance budget and prioritize resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with all safety programs and regulations
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to maintenance team members
  • Work closely with HR to recruit and hire maintenance staff

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • 5 years of supervisory experience with a proven track record of leadership and direction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of understanding of mill operating maintenance procedures

Compensation and Benefits

  • $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity)
