Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at SRA Wainwright Restaurants Ltd. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job requirements.
  • Operations: Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Restaurant Manager will work 35 hours per week.
