Restaurant Manager Job Description

SRA Wainwright Restaurants Ltd is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive success in our restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
    • Recruit and manage a team of 3-4 people to achieve business objectives
  • Operational Planning and Execution
    • Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain negotiations
    • Implement operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure seamless operations
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement
    • Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and identify areas for improvement
    • Implement strategies to improve staff performance and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
    • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and electronic cash register systems
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required
  • 35 hours per week, permanent position
