Job Summary

The School District #61 (Greater Victoria) is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Systems Specialist - Records to join our team. This is a continuing position working 35 hours per week for 12 months per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide procedural guidance to and maintain accurate employment information for all District employees.
  • Process a variety of forms, reports, and correspondence and access, input, and revise data in the computerized Human Resources system (PRM).
  • Work with confidential matters and provide guidance on a range of administrative Human Resources issues to the assigned client group.
  • Be responsible for Human Resource office reception.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Completion of a one (1) year post-secondary office administration program or equivalent including, or supplemented by, courses in Human Resources, payroll/accounting applications, and/or benefits administration.
  • Minimum of two years of recent experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Benefits.
  • Extensive experience in word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and records management.
Working Conditions

This is a complex organization with multiple collective agreements and one that is constantly adapting to the movement of students within our schools.

What We Offer

This position falls within the CUPE 947 Collective Agreement at a pay rate of $33.84 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.
