Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Human Resources Coordinator to become a key member of our team at Ravensview, a part of Homewood Health, recognized as the national leader in mental health and addiction treatment across Canada.

Homewood Ravensview operates as a private facility with 75 beds, providing evidence-based, medically-led inpatient services for a diverse clientele including first responders, military personnel, veterans, executives, professionals, adults, and young adults.

Situated on a picturesque 28-acre forested hillside, Homewood Ravensview offers a safe and comfortable environment, featuring stunning ocean views from spacious accommodations, inviting communal areas, and a world-class team of healthcare professionals.

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in a collaborative environment focused on delivering effective services and programs to our clients and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately document and maintain HR information within the HRIS
  • Enroll new employees in the absence management program
  • Generate and distribute absence balance reports to management
  • Draft employment contracts and verification letters as necessary
  • Prepare and dispatch electronic onboarding packages for new hires
  • Update organizational charts on a monthly basis
  • Oversee the Career Investment program
  • Manage the service recognition program, assisting managers in acknowledging their staff
  • Provide support for general inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Act as liaison for temporary staffing agencies for short-term staffing needs
  • Collaborate with the HR Consultant in delivering new employee orientation
  • Serve as a backup for the HR Consultant during absences
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is required
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in French is an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel) and Visio
  • Ability to quickly learn new software such as HRIS and ATS, and accurately input data
  • Detail-oriented with a genuine passion for Human Resources and the industry
  • Proven customer service skills with a professional and collaborative approach
  • Capable of handling confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of benefits and pension administration is an asset
