Position Overview:

Multimatic Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to oversee the operation of machinery and tools essential for assembling products tailored to our clientele's specifications. The selected candidate must be available for night shifts.

Location: Multimatic Inc. facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate various assembly machines, including riveting and staking equipment, either automatically or manually, as designated. Utilize measurement tools and fixtures to verify product compliance with customer standards. Accurately count, label, and document finished products and relevant production data. Input precise information into the inventory management system using barcoding and computer technology. Maintain records of production trends using appropriate documentation (e.g., production reports, control forms). Inspect assemblies against specified gauges, tools, or visual aids as per established procedures. Ensure cleanliness and safety of the work environment and machinery at all times, adhering to hygiene protocols. Follow safety regulations diligently and work in a secure manner. Identify and report any issues related to quality, productivity, or safety. Collaborate as a team member to support continuous improvement initiatives. Undertake additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors or management. Conduct maintenance activities, including tool changes and equipment setup. Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and take responsibility for specific safety duties. Perform inspections of finished goods according to control plans and operational guidelines. In case of discrepancies, halt operations and notify the supervisor. Clearly mark non-conforming materials with reject tags or place them in designated reject containers. Maintain a clean and safe workspace and equipment at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. Capability to meet or exceed company performance standards after gaining experience. Proficiency in operating all necessary equipment as required.
