Position Overview:

Multimatic Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to manage the operation of machinery, tools, and equipment utilized in the assembly of products tailored to our clients' specifications. The selected candidate will be required to work the night shift.

Location: Multimatic Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various assembly machines, including riveting and staking equipment, whether automated or manual, as designated.
  • Utilize measuring tools and fixtures to verify compliance with customer specifications.
  • Accurately count and label finished products while documenting all necessary production data.
  • Input precise information into the inventory management system using barcoding and computer systems.
  • Monitor and record production trends using appropriate documentation (e.g., production reports, lot control forms).
  • Verify assemblies against fixtures, gauges, and visual inspection aids as specified in the control plan.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area and on machinery at all times, including wearing protective gear during assembly tasks.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations consistently.
  • Identify and report any issues related to quality, productivity, or safety.
  • Collaborate as a team member to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Complete any other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Perform maintenance duties such as tool changes and equipment setup.
  • Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations and responsibilities.
  • Conduct inspections of finished goods according to the control plan and operational guidelines.
  • In case of discrepancies, stop operations and notify the supervisor.
  • Ensure non-conforming materials are properly tagged or disposed of in designated areas.
  • Consistently maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Meet or exceed company performance standards following training.
  • Capability to operate all necessary equipment as required.
