Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Care Paramedic to join our team at Emergency Medical Care Inc. as an Emergency Response Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage emergency medical situations, providing critical care to patients in need.
  • Administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients, including ALS care.
  • Transport patients to hospital or other medical facilities for further medical care, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with hospital personnel to provide medical treatment and care, as needed.
  • Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
  • Emergency First Response Course
  • Ambulance driver's licence
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Driver's abstract
  • Confidential security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Medical exam
Work Environment

As an Emergency Response Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and have excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
