Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Paramedic to join our team at Emergency Medical Care Inc. As a key member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Treat Patients: Assess the extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment, administer pre-hospital emergency care, and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients.
  • Transport Patients: Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
  • Document and Record: Document and record the nature of injuries and treatment provided, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with Hospital Personnel: Assist hospital personnel with provision of medical treatment, if necessary, and maintain effective communication with healthcare teams.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence: Possess a valid Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence for ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers.
  • Ambulance Driver's Licence: Hold a valid ambulance driver's licence.
  • CPR Certificate: Possess a current CPR certificate.
  • Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Driver's Validity Licence Check: Pass a driver's validity licence check.
  • Medical Exam: Pass a medical exam.
