Food and Beverage Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Eldorado Resort. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the highest standards of service in our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of staff to provide excellent service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Monitor and improve service standards, ensuring that guests receive a consistently high level of service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, team members, and management to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Support staff development and training, providing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure standard operating procedures are followed and communicate any performance management issues to the Restaurant Manager or General Manager.
- Demonstrate high personal integrity, business ethics, and promote Eldorado Resort's values and mission.
- Communicate the vision and promotions to team members during daily stand-ups prior to each service.
- Provide general administrative support for the restaurant, including tracking sales, invoicing, and managing inventory.
- Use conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to address guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist with reservation management and strive for maximum efficiency and revenue maximization.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business or Hospitality an asset.
- Experience with Squirrel and OpenTable considered an asset.
- WSET Intermediate Wine Certificate or comparable considered an asset.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Extreme organization in a fast-paced environment with the ability to act as a team player.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large and variable workload.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid Serving It Right certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
