About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cafeteria Helper to join our team at AUM Company Limited. As a Cafeteria Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and assist with food preparation, including washing dishes and other items by hand.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used, and assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the dining area.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.

  • Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Mature Worker Support: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Visible Minority Support: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
