About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cafeteria Helper to join our team at AUM Company Limited. As a Cafeteria Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including workstations, cupboards, and storage areas.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and package take-out food for customers.
    • Portion and wrap food items for serving.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
    • Sweep, mop, and polish floors.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Handle and store cleaning products.
  • Waste Management
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    Support for Diverse Groups
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
    • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
    • Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
    Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
