We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Integrated Stroke Unit/Telemetry department at Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Integrated Stroke Unit/Telemetry setting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop plans to address the physical and emotional needs of patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum two years of recent clinical experience in Stroke Care/Rehabilitation
- Recent/related courses in Stroke Care/Rehabilitation nursing
- Ability to plan, organize, and problem-solve
- Excellent communication and physical assessment skills
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Recent Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course or equivalent
- Recent 12 lead ECG interpretation course, or equivalent
