About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at 41 Park Avenue East Holdings Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
    • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
    • Cost products and services to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock management.
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals and objectives.
    • Supervise a team of 1 to 20 people, depending on the restaurant's size and needs.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
    • Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
    • Work accurately and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, and organized.
    • Develop excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
    • Be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and priorities.
    • Be a team player and demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience and Education
    • Have 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role or a related field.
    • Hold a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
    • Work a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
    • Speak English as a primary language.
