Position Summary:

The Strategic Account Executive will be pivotal in spearheading exceptional account management strategies for our primary retail collaborators. The ideal candidate will engage closely with clients, collaborating with diverse teams (marketing, supply chain, category management, and finance) to implement a comprehensive strategy that boosts market presence in Canada. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth within a leading organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit exemplary account management practices to optimize revenue and profitability in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee daily account operations for designated retail partners.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive promotional, marketing, and joint business initiatives for assigned accounts.
  • Effectively present, secure, and launch new product offerings in accordance with company strategy.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements for assigned accounts during renewal periods.
  • Prepare impactful presentations, business reviews, and sales analyses that highlight areas for enhancement and growth opportunities.
  • Engage with retailers and internal teams to analyze various data sources, reporting on sales trends and business influences.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaboratively generate forecasts, providing monthly reports and tracking.
  • Gather insights on competitive dynamics affecting the business, including new product launches and promotional activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Results-oriented with a keen awareness of critical milestones and a proven ability to develop and adhere to schedules for successful outcomes.
  • Dynamic sales leader with a strategic mindset, capable of overcoming challenges and working collaboratively.
  • Proficient in managing a portfolio as a general manager, demonstrating leadership across functions, financial acumen, and innovative thinking to achieve significant advancements in Canada.
  • Self-driven with a collaborative spirit, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong business insight and analytical capabilities, complemented by effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret and evaluate extensive data sets.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to cultivate and sustain productive relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in sales within the consumer products or consumer durables sector is essential.
  • A minimum of 4 years of account management experience is preferred.
