Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Gorugoru Food. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service business.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Management: Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
- Staff Performance: Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure high standards are met.
- Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer needs.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient supply chain management.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Event Management: Manage events and ensure they are executed to the highest standards.
- Settlement Support: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Social and Labour Market Integration: Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to support their career development.
- Community Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote cultural understanding and collaboration.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
