Food Service Worker

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Gorugoru Food as a Kitchen Helper. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Portion and wrap foods to meet customer demands and presentation standards.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, adhering to recipe guidelines and quality control measures.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices.
- Cleaning and Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, adhering to waste management procedures.
- Maintenance and Organization
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Work Environment and Hours
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Work a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet business demands.
