* Support updates and improvements to the payroll system, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
* Handle payroll inquiries: Identify and respond to payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies promptly and maintaining positive relationships with employees.
* Special payroll runs: Prepare and execute special payroll runs as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the SAP payroll system to enhance efficiency.
* Collaborate during audits: Follow policies and collaborate with auditors during annual audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of payroll practices.
**Requirements:**
* Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
* 3 to 5 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
* Proficiency in SAP and strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation.
* Possession of or active progress towards a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification.
