Position Overview

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is integral in providing HR support across the organization. The incumbent will handle team member inquiries and modifications while offering essential administrative assistance. This position plays a crucial role in upholding the Company's policies and procedures, fostering a motivating atmosphere, and contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace for all employees.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Facilitates HR documentation and oversees site records
  • Drafts internal communications as needed
  • Maintains a comprehensive list of compliance obligations
  • Conducts new employee orientations
  • Handles employment verification inquiries
  • Coordinates Workers' Compensation Claims to ensure precision
  • Assists in recruitment efforts, including participation in job fairs, candidate interviews, reference checks, and candidate referrals
  • Provides HR guidance to employees and site supervisors; escalates issues to the Human Resources Manager when appropriate
  • Collaborates with other locations regarding team member and file transfers
  • May represent the organization at Occupational Health and Safety meetings
  • Communicates effectively with relevant operational departments
  • Establishes strong working relationships with both guests and team members
  • Ensures adherence to licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and other legal requirements
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or directed

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma; post-secondary education in Human Resources or a relevant combination of education and experience
  • HR Certification is advantageous
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or administrative support
  • Ability to exceed expectations of both internal and external customers through prompt, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with JDE or HRIS is a plus
  • Capable of obtaining a Gaming License successfully

Work Environment Considerations

  • Typical office and gaming environment; non-standard working hours may be necessary in certain situations, and occasional travel may be required
