Your Role and Responsibilities

This full-time position focuses on positively impacting individuals' lives and the future of clean energy. You will utilize your expertise as an HR Operations & Labour Relations Specialist, contributing to a dynamic team within the Installed Base Business Unit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, executing, and assessing employee and labour relations strategies, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Promoting a collaborative labour relations environment by providing consistent guidance on collective agreements and fostering positive relationships with union representatives.
  • Conducting research and offering recommendations on collective agreement interpretations and resolving labour relations issues.
  • Coordinating the recruitment of trades and apprentices in collaboration with relevant union halls.
  • Leading negotiations and ensuring compliance with the organization's collective agreements.
  • Managing grievance meetings and preparing case files, including comprehensive background research.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure equitable labour relations.
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance by staying informed about legal requirements related to employee management.
  • Providing daily performance management support to line management, including coaching and career development.
  • Conducting thorough and impartial workforce investigations to resolve labour and employee relations matters.
  • Fostering accountable leadership and a culture focused on employee engagement, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with management and employees to enhance work relationships, boost morale, and improve retention.
  • Advising management on compensation strategies, including salary planning and job evaluations.

This position may require occasional travel. Together, we will contribute to the development of clean, safe, and cost-effective low-carbon energy solutions for a sustainable future.
