Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Assist management in developing effective maintenance strategies and work programs focused on human performance, predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance of plant systems and equipment.
  • Contribute to the formulation of maintenance work programs, including strategic business plans and reporting on budgetary expenditures.
  • Analyze and enhance the effectiveness of maintenance programs, implementing new techniques and technologies as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned projects, monitoring progress and addressing compliance issues with management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and prioritize operational deficiencies, recommending procedural changes and improvements.
  • Facilitate communication within the maintenance team regarding business plans, training, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare staffing forecasts and manage the deployment of personnel across various projects.
  • Assess training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance staff capabilities.
  • Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with safety standards on-site.
  • Lead project teams in executing maintenance programs, ensuring quality and efficiency in all deliverables.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations, ensuring adherence across all operations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of control, mechanical, or civil technology.
  • Mathematical proficiency for practical calculations and measurements.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for effective documentation and reporting.

This knowledge is typically acquired through completion of secondary education followed by three years of specialized study.
