Job Summary:

As a Pre-Board Screening Officer with Paladin Airport Security Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and airport facilities. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints
  • Provide information professionally and with integrity
  • Confirm valid boarding passes
  • Scan and test baggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other technology
  • Protect restricted areas
  • Manage conflict
  • Communicate clearly and effectively
  • Uphold all regulations with vigilance

What You Bring:
  • Excellent customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one (1) year
  • Open availability to work any shift as required by the airport operations, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset
  • Ability to comply with the CATSA medical requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
