About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our team at QA Consultants Inc. as a Workforce Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the selection, configuration, and implementation of an advanced scheduling application to support the unique scheduling and workforce management needs of our clients in the Health Care sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Planning Sessions: Collaborate with leaders and business managers to understand current state requirements and improve business processes related to Workforce Management & Scheduling.
  • Support RFP Development: Assist in the development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the assessment and selection process for an advanced scheduling application.
  • Technical Requirements Gathering: Lead technical requirements gathering and process design sessions alongside subject matter experts, external partners, and program team members.
  • Application Configuration: Configure the selected advanced scheduling tool based on requirements gathering initiative.
  • Schedule Development: Develop and maintain schedules, shift patterns, and unique rules within the advanced scheduling application.
  • Integration Development: Partner with the Workday team to build and maintain integrations to the advanced scheduling application.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Complete full cycle testing including unit testing and end-to-end testing to troubleshoot issues.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on time tracking and scheduling processes.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise to all stakeholders and partners.
  • Best Practices: Stay updated on best practices to continually improve system functionality.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience with Workforce Management and business operations knowledge (Healthcare industry knowledge would be an asset).
  • Business Analyst Experience: Business analyst experience is a requirement, including ability to document and validation business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Workforce Management Principles: Strong understanding of workforce management principles and practices.
  • Scheduling Software Experience: Experience managing Scheduling and/or Time Tracking software within a complex, unionized setting.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience working in project management environments, including familiarity with tools like Azure Dev Ops.
  • Data Analysis and Troubleshooting: Proficiency in data analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and compliance.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with Workday Time Tracking module is an asset. Experience with Shift Link, Comvida, Staff Schedule Care, Goeasycare, Legion, and/or Kronos would be an asset.
