Position Overview

As a Food Service Counter Attendant at Sunset Grill, you will play a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Setup: Bring clean dishes, utensils, and other items to serving areas and set tables for customer use.
  • Sanitation: Clean and sanitize various items including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to uphold health standards.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a tidy environment.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to effectively wash dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas as needed.
  • Take-Out Preparation: Package take-out food and ensure it is ready for customers.
  • Food Portioning: Portion and wrap food items for service.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer orders.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, providing a friendly and efficient service.
  • Stock Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability of items.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
