Job Summary
Cineplex is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Amusement Associate to join our team at Canada's Wonderland. As an Amusement Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining the presentation and working condition of the facility, and ensuring that all stations are fully equipped at the beginning and end of shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and friendly guest service, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience at the Games Rooms.
- Maintain cash out operations by following policies and procedures, and ensure that all transactions are accurate and secure.
- Upsell playcards to maximize guest service and increase revenue.
- Redeem prizes for guests at the Redemption counter and obtain e-tickets as payment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including the amusement equipment, redemption counter, and storage areas.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels of supplies for all game locations and Games Rooms.
- Ensure that the facility consistently meets Cineplex's Standards throughout daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with fellow Cineplex staff via radio calls and other communication channels.
Requirements
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Works well in a busy environment and can work under pressure while complying with all relevant legislation.
- Some mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic.
- Experience with monitoring and controlling inventory an asset.
- Familiarity with point of sale systems will be considered an asset.
