Job Summary

Cineplex is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Amusement Associate to join our team at Canada's Wonderland. As an Amusement Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining the presentation and working condition of the facility, and ensuring that all stations are fully equipped at the beginning and end of shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional and friendly guest service, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience at the Games Rooms.
  • Maintain cash out operations by following policies and procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Upsell playcards to maximize guest service and increase revenue.
  • Redeem prizes for guests at the Redemption counter and obtain e-tickets as payment, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and efficient.
  • Maintain the presentation and working condition of the facility, including its amusement equipment, redemption counter, and storage areas.
  • Restock merchandise and ensure that all game locations and Games Rooms have adequate supplies.
  • Address and rectify guest comments and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, ensuring that it consistently meets Canada's Wonderland's standards.
  • Ensure that all stations are fully equipped at the beginning and end of shifts, and that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow Cineplex and P1AG staff via radio calls, ensuring seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Work safely and honestly, adhering to all relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Arrive for work on time, and be punctual for all shifts.
  • Practice and adhere to Cineplex's and P1AG's Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Strong computer and technical aptitude, with experience using point-of-sale systems an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
  • Legally able to work in Canada, with a valid Social Insurance Number.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
