Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at Century Twenty-One Gas & Heating Co. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control process, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate Costs and Materials: Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for materials and supplies.
- Prepare Production Reports: Analyze production data and create detailed reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Recruit and Hire Workers: Source, interview, and hire qualified candidates to fill production and quality control positions.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Plan and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Oversee Operations: Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the production department.
- Set Up Machines and Equipment: Install and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Supervise Workers and Projects: Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members and projects to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities- Attention to Detail: The ability to focus on details and ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality.
- Tight Deadlines: The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Work Under Pressure: The ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced production environment.
- Work Term: This is a permanent position.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours: The workweek is 40 hours per week.
