Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams at Electronic Arts. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of people management, including hiring, career growth, performance management, and team health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team health and well-being
  • Organize and facilitate mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team capabilities
  • Drive staffing and recruitment efforts to attract top talent
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project goals and improve productivity
  • Develop and maintain technical processes and plans to ensure efficient delivery
  • Identify and address technical resource requirements to support business needs
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to inform technical decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience leading agile engineering teams and driving technical innovation
  • Strong mentoring and career planning skills to develop team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders
  • Technical expertise in object-oriented programming and C++
  • Experience with development environment tools and Continuous Integration/Deployment practices
