About the Role
As a Product Manager, you will oversee multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring that we meet critical milestones. Your role will involve developing product strategies by analyzing customer feedback, competitive insights, and market trends to craft a roadmap that addresses market demands.
About You
The Workday Mobile App team seeks a Senior Product Manager focused on enhancing our Mobile Platform. This position is crucial for advancing our next generation of mobile applications across various devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, user experience, and product management, to deliver scalable and efficient solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive product growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Articulate and advocate for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Translate the Mobile Platform strategy into actionable requirements, working collaboratively with design and engineering teams.
- Inspire and engage both internal teams and external stakeholders by linking platform strategy to user and business value.
- Mentor and support team members in their professional development within product management and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with peers to continuously refine the product development process.
- Utilize data analytics to establish and communicate success metrics that inform decision-making.
- Work across all organizational functions to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Gain a deep understanding of Workday's product offerings and how they relate to mobile app users.
- Provide constructive feedback on technical aspects of the product.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in product management.
- 3+ years focused on mobile products.
- Proven track record in delivering user-facing and platform experiences.
- Experience in formulating, launching, and communicating enterprise software product strategies.
Other Qualifications
- Quick learner in a dynamic environment, including complex technical areas.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, particularly with senior leadership.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
- Ability to approach problems from various perspectives and utilize data-driven analysis for roadmap development.
- Technical knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and mobile architectures, along with proficiency in data visualization tools.
- A degree in technology or business is preferred.
