About the Role

As a Product Manager, you will oversee multiple strategic programs and projects, ensuring key milestones are met. You will develop product strategies by analyzing customer, competitive, and market data to grasp market dynamics. Your role will involve articulating a product strategy and roadmap that aligns with market demands.

About You

The Workday Mobile App team seeks a Senior Product Manager focused on enhancing platform capabilities to develop our next generation of mobile applications across various devices. You will play a pivotal role within the platform leadership team, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, including engineering, design, user experience, and business line product managers, to create and deliver capabilities that enhance scalability and accelerate market readiness, driving customer, user, and partner satisfaction, as well as product adoption and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and advocate for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and analysts to translate the Mobile Platform strategy into detailed requirements, prioritizing and driving development.
  • Inspire and empower both internal teams and external stakeholders, clearly linking the platform strategy to customer, partner, and user value, along with business outcomes.
  • Mentor and support team members in developing their expertise in product management and mobile applications.
  • Work alongside cross-functional peers to continuously enhance the product development process.
  • Analyze data to establish, monitor, and communicate success metrics that inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across all organizational functions to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Workday's product offerings and capabilities in relation to the personas utilizing mobile applications.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on the technical aspects of the product.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in product management.
  • 3+ years in mobile product management.
  • Proven track record in delivering user-facing and platform experiences.
  • Experience in creating, launching, and communicating enterprise software product strategies.

Other Qualifications

  • Quick learner in a fast-paced environment, including highly technical areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort in engaging with senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
  • Ability to approach problems from various perspectives and utilize data-driven analysis for roadmap development and prioritization.
  • Technical knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android), mobile architectures, and proficiency in building and publishing reports using Tableau.
  • A Bachelor's degree in technology or business is preferred.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for primary and additional locations are provided below. Workday's pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
