About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Kaipings Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that we have everything we need to operate efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our dishes meet our high standards.
  • Staff Development: Identify areas for improvement and provide training and support to help our staff grow and develop.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding to feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
