Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Harbourview Inn & Suites. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
- Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus for special occasions and events.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a similar environment.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing kitchen teams and achieving exceptional results.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
