Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: St. Joseph's Health Care, London

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $50.24 per hour

Key Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • Active registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, specializing in Nuclear Medicine
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Understanding of Safety Culture within a Healthcare Environment in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
  • Proficient in executing a comprehensive range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, demonstrating independent judgment, skill, creativity, and initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual proficiency in French is considered an asset

Educational and Research Responsibilities

  • As a member of St. Joseph's Health Care London, affiliated with Western University and Fanshawe College, you will be expected to participate in teaching and research activities relevant to your role, alongside your clinical responsibilities.

Immunization Compliance

  • Submission of documentation confirming receipt of two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (primary series, boosters, and/or XBB) OR one dose of XBB vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
  • Provision of vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (chicken pox).
  • Documentation of Tuberculosis skin testing is required.
