Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in veterinary medicine, medicine, dentistry, or optometry
Work Environment

This position is based in a veterinary clinic that supports relocation costs for the right candidate. Candidates should be open to relocating.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Diagnosing diseases or abnormal conditions in animals through physical examinations or laboratory tests
  • Treating sick or injured animals by prescribing medications, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgeries
  • Administering vaccinations to prevent and treat diseases
  • Advising clients on proper animal care, including feeding, housing, behavior, breeding, hygiene, and general care
  • Conducting routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations
  • Providing a variety of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia
  • Supervising animal health technologists and animal care workers
Supervision

You will oversee a team of 3-4 individuals.

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Handling heavy loads
