About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team at Voices, a leading creative services marketplace. As a key member of our web development group, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing robust technical solutions, leading team sprints, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop end-to-end web applications using PHP and JavaScript, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Lead team sprints and projects, estimating and planning work packages, creating task tickets, and guiding technical solution planning.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing Teams to design technical solutions for business problems.
  • Develop and maintain internal APIs, 3rd-party integrations, and infrastructure projects.
  • Work with multiple Git branches, write and review Pull Requests, and push production-level code regularly.
  • Oversee the preparation of test and release plans, creating DB migration scripts and collaborating with the testing team.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of our internal component library and design system, and help build scripts.
About You
  • You have 3+ years of experience in database-driven web site development, with a strong focus on quality code and testing.
  • You have production-level experience with WordPress development and are familiar with modern PHP and JavaScript frameworks.
  • You have a BS or MS in Computer Science, Diploma in Web Development, or equivalent work experience.
  • You are passionate about building end-to-end software and are comfortable with helping expand the knowledge of your colleagues.
