About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). As a Web Developer, you will play a key role in developing, testing, and improving our websites and web-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain WSIB websites using various programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Work with subject matter experts and project teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop tactics to support the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring security, session management, and best development practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for web application issues.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility and usability standards, including AODA and the French Language Services Act.
Requirements
  • University completion at the undergraduate level in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, Web Development/Programming, Interactive Media Design/Development, or Software Development.
  • Four years of prior experience in web development using various web platforms and programming languages.
