Auberge du Pommier is a leading hospitality company that offers a unique blend of sales and management expertise. As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing a team of sales professionals across Canada. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing a sales strategy that meets or exceeds annual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that targets existing and new clients, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to support recruitment and training initiatives for assigned business units.
  • Responsible for outbound sales on targeted markets for the portfolio each year, as instructed by the National Director.
  • Actively develop business for the portfolio and has proven success in extending sales of existing clients to properties across Canada.
  • Ensure liaison between sales professionals and operational services.
  • Perform forecasting and planning using company tools and methodologies. May support portfolio forecasts in the absence of the National Director.
  • Monitor customer reactions in the establishment to find ways to exceed expectations and handle customer complaints, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Seek out new business opportunities for the unit and department, focusing on prospects and cold calls.
  • May communicate the unit's vision to the team, rallying efforts from all members and achieving results.
  • Is fanatical about continuous improvement and is creative and proactive in tackling challenges within their unit.
  • May establish all facets of our company from the ground up, including marketing, systems, hiring, training, and business development with minimal assistance.
  • May lead national sales team meetings in the absence of the Director.
  • Contribute to director meetings, bringing new ideas and leading aspects for the team.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining minimum expenses and rental rates for portfolio establishments.
  • Manages menu development for all portfolio establishments and actively collaborates with operational services, commercial operations, and marketing to ensure menus drive sales.
  • Actively plan the annual promotional calendar for establishments, working with marketing and the National Director to implement it.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of experience in event sales, with proven ability to develop sales and lead a team of sales professionals.
  • Bilingual; advanced written and spoken English.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team while consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to train sales professionals to maximize revenue.
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Degree from a college or university, preferably in a hospitality-related program.
  • Knowledge of menu development and planning.
  • Ability to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively.
  • Has a significant client database and can use relationships to develop O&B activity.
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and critical thinking in daily decision-making.
