Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

NOV.8 SUSHI GALORE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Assist in the creation of new recipes and menu items.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Equivalent experience in a related field.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding work conditions.
