We are a dynamic and innovative sushi restaurant seeking a skilled and dedicated Executive Chef Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

The Executive Chef Assistant will be responsible for assisting the head chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Assist in creating new recipes and menu items.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Equivalent experience in a related field.
Work Environment
