Senior Business Analyst Role

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain business cases, requirements documents, and other relevant artifacts to support project delivery.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Conduct business analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, subject matter experts, and IT partners.
  • Provide business analysis support for project delivery, including requirements management, testing, and deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform business decisions and drive innovation.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in a technical field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Professional certifications, such as IIBA CBAP, are an asset.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
