Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

At Highbrow LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing current data processes and making recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Develop and document detailed solution designs, leveraging existing reusable components and tracing back to business requirements.
  • Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand analysis and design needs, and use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful solutions.
  • Implement data products curated by our Chief Data Office, as well as custom data models for fit for use.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in Java and Spring.
  • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, HDFS, ADLS, ADF, Spark, Kafka, Databricks.
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra.

Desired:

  • Experience in Python and Scala.
  • 5+ years of Capital Markets experience.
