Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Force Analytics Lead to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for driving business performance through analytics-based strategy recommendations and key strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with commercial business to advise on salesforce field metrics and conduct deep dive sales force analytics to inform strategic direction.
  • Develop and implement multichannel customer engagement planning activities to maximize field effectiveness.
  • Lead customer segmentation & targeting projects for priority brands, aligned to each brand's business plan.
  • Refine established territories and establish de novo territory alignments for launch brands.
  • Integrate strategic metrics into key sales platforms and support/consult on the management and procurement of SFE datasets.
  • Manage BAaaS resources who support Territory Alignment and Engagement Planning.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in science, business, or financial management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
  • Proven ability to synthesize business questions and deliver solutions to drive improvement in performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed time-management and multi-tasking ability.
  • Excellent influencing and engagement, and strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and challenge based on expertise and personal credibility.
  • Results-oriented with a proven ability to prioritize work and meet challenging deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of our sales force effectiveness tools and experience working in the pharmaceutical industry will provide the individual with the ability to drive strategic priorities. Advanced proficiency with Excel is strongly preferred, and familiarity with PowerBI and Veeva is an asset.

Knowledge of how to inspire and lead others across the business will be applied to gain endorsement for recommended strategic approaches and organizational alignment and commitment to implement the agreed approach.
