Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the mechanical and electrical scopes of work for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate the mechanical and electrical scopes of work for construction projects, including preparing construction schedules and ensuring timely payment of subcontractor billings.
- Monitor project material and labor costs for mechanical and electrical components, ensuring accurate quality reporting and compliance with standards.
- Review and approve mechanical and electrical changes received from consultants, ensuring they meet standards and are accurately priced.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on project delivery and performance, utilizing available tools and information to maintain detailed and accurate records of site infrastructure, plant, and equipment.
- Lead project meetings, determining project status, and solving complex technical issues.
- Act as a liaison for the end client on all aspects of operational services, ensuring high-quality services and timely deliverables.
- Establish policies, procedures, and performance measures to guarantee high-quality services and timely deliverables.
- Manage the overall commissioning program of building systems, including coordination, testing, verification, and training.
- 8-10 years of experience in mechanical and electrical construction, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Full understanding and proven experience with maintenance and life-cycle budgeting, and technical competence in understanding statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation.
- Experience in managing various projects and tasks, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload with limited supervision.
