Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and accurate execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Information Technology scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to prepare construction schedules and ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage and review project costs, ensuring accurate quality reporting and timely payment of subcontractor billings.
  • Monitor and control project materials and labour costs, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on project delivery, utilizing available tools and information to drive results.
  • Lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving with stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and support.
  • Continuously review and improve departmental processes, ensuring cost-effective and quality services.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of Mechanical and Electrical construction experience or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Proven experience in project management, including scope development, specification development, tender management, and project close-out.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance and life-cycle budgeting, as well as statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload with limited supervision.
