Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with project superintendents, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project delivery
- Quality Control
- Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues
- Cost Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Communication
- Develop and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports
- Leadership
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
- Develop and implement project management strategies and best practices
Requirements
- Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in mechanical and electrical construction, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- Skills
- Proven experience in project management, including scope development, specification development, tender management, and project close-out
- Strong understanding of maintenance and life-cycle budgeting, and statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
