Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning
    • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
    • Coordinate with project superintendents, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project delivery
  • Quality Control
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues
  • Cost Management
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
    • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Communication
    • Develop and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors
    • Provide regular project updates and progress reports
  • Leadership
    • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
    • Develop and implement project management strategies and best practices

Requirements

  • Experience
    • 8-10 years of experience in mechanical and electrical construction, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • Skills
    • Proven experience in project management, including scope development, specification development, tender management, and project close-out
    • Strong understanding of maintenance and life-cycle budgeting, and statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
