You will play a key role in the success of our projects, acting as the liaison between Mechanical and Electrical consultants and subcontractors on site. Your expertise will be sought after by your colleagues, and your manager will give you the autonomy to excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all on-site mechanical & electrical activities to comply with specifications, drawings, requirements, and codes.
- Coordinate all relevant drawings and information to eliminate interference problems, with a focus on Design Analysis and feedback to Consultants and Owners.
- Provide direction during functional performance testing of all mechanical and electrical systems (Commissioning).
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in updating and achieving schedule requirements, with a specific focus on mechanical and electrical RFI's, shop drawings, procurement, and administrate mechanical/electrical project completion requirements.
- Assist in managing Key Mechanical, Electrical, and Technology Subcontractors.
Requirements:
- You have a construction-related degree/diploma and 2 years of mechanical and electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- You have a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering systems, principles, and practices.
- You have the ability to proactively identify and document any problems/conflicts and effectively manage and resolve them.
